Here's one that's new to me, i just came across it now and it's one of those things i could swear i should have figured out a long time ago. I've done similar motions when using a monopod, but having that second leg certainly has its merits.
So the idea is simple, shorten up one of your tripod's legs so it's out of the equation, and then just use the combination of pushing/pulling the tripod toward or away from you whilst working the tilt of the head.
What that technically gives you is a combination of a very short dolly and very short jib motion. But as you can see from the youtube user's shots, it does indeed get you something interesting! Note how he's using foreground objects to accentuate the movement. If you just did this in an empty space it probably won't look like much.
